Introduction
To put it briefly, MBAcoder.com is technical resources for non-technical founders. For those of us, myself included, that are unfamiliar with the technical side of the internet, doing things like setting up website hosting, installing WordPress, uploading files to a server, etc. can seem daunting. There is a learning curve and it’s steeper for some than for others. Our goal is to flatten that curve and help anyone learn the basics of getting up and running on the internet.
Tell Me More…
There are any number of reasons why you might want to learn these skills. For us, it’s to make money. The common themes you’ll find throughout this website center around using the internet to validate business ideas, learn basic technical skills and make money.
Who is this for?
It’s for you. It’s for your technical friend who keeps being asked to build a website every week. It’s for the corporate ladder climber who is tired of working for someone else. It’s for the stay at home parent looking to bring home more money.
Why MBA + Coder?
Great question, glad you asked. “MBA” was the shortest way to say “idea guy” or appeal to the business savvy crowd. “Coder” represents the technical side of things, hope you weren’t looking for a deeper translation. Personally, I am neither. I know enough about both to be annoying and break stuff. We both know enough to be successful.
Homework
Yes, you have homework. Two things:
- Let me know what you are excited to learn about. This is your website and your community, get involved. What type of business are you looking to run online?
- Have a friend that has a great idea but ‘just needs a coder’? Send them our way. Introduce them to MBACoder.com and bring them into the community.
